Subscriptions are managed directly through the App Store or Google Play — moonbelt cannot cancel on your behalf.
iOS: Open Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → moonbelt → Cancel Subscription.
Android: Open Google Play → tap your profile icon → Payments & Subscriptions → Subscriptions → moonbelt → Cancel.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep full access until then.
Inside the app, go to Settings → Account → Delete account. This permanently removes your profile, meal logs, weight history, and user content from our active systems within 30 days.
You can also request deletion by emailing privacy@moonbelt.ai from the address linked to your account.
Note: cancelling your subscription does not delete your account. You need to delete it separately if you want your data removed.
On the login screen, tap Forgot password? and enter your email address. You'll receive a reset link within a few minutes. Check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive.
If you signed up with Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google, your password is managed by Apple or Google — moonbelt does not store a separate password for you.
AI estimates can be imperfect — always review results before saving a meal. You can edit any logged item by tapping on it and adjusting the food name, portion size, or nutrition values manually.
If a particular food is consistently incorrect, you can create a custom food entry with your own values under the food search screen.
Yes. Go to Settings → Goals to update your stats (height, weight, activity level, goal pace) and moonbelt will recalculate your targets automatically.
If you want a target outside what the app suggests, speak with a registered dietitian who can tailor a plan to your individual needs. moonbelt's targets are estimates and not medical advice.
moonbelt does not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers needed to operate the app (e.g. Supabase for the database, PostHog for analytics, AI providers for food recognition). We do not share data for advertising or marketing purposes.

No. moonbelt provides educational and informational tools — it is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
If you have a medical condition, are pregnant or nursing, have a history of disordered eating, or have any health concerns related to diet, please consult your doctor or a registered dietitian before making changes to how you eat.
Because subscriptions are billed through Apple or Google, refunds are handled directly by them:
Apple: Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and select the moonbelt charge.
Google Play: Visit play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions and request a refund there.
